Kim Jong Un attends completion ceremony of high-rise street project in capital

Kim’s daughter joined to mark opening of Jonwi Street project which was built by North Korean youths in under 15 months

Kim Jong Un and his daughter attended the completion ceremony of a new high-rise street built by “inexperienced youth” in Pyongyang on Tuesday, according to state media, more than seven months after the Jonwi Street project missed its completion deadline.

During Tuesday’s ceremony, Kim cut a red ribbon to symbolize the completion of the new street among “stormy cheers” of the crowds of “young heroes” present at the venue, the Rodong Sinmun party daily reported on Wednesday.
