South Korea’s unification ministry has accused North Korea of attempting to interfere in next week’s general elections by publishing articles “belittling” President Yoon Suk-yeol — even though most South Koreans are blocked from reading DPRK media.
In a statement released Tuesday, Seoul claimed that recent articles about Yoon in state media represent a “serious threat” to the ROK’s liberal democracy.
