North Korea fired “multiple presumed short-range ballistic missiles” toward the East Sea (Sea of Japan) on Monday afternoon, according to South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
The JCS said the missiles were launched at 3:01 pm. KST from an undisclosed location in the capital Pyongyang and flew around 186 miles (300 km) before landing in the sea.
