North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw a successful static motor test firing for a "multi-stage solid-propellant rocket motor to be loaded in an intermediate-range hypersonic missile," according to state media on Wednesday.
The Rodong Sinmun said the test occurred Tuesday morning and afternoon at the Sohae Satellite Launching Ground in the northwest of the country.
