ROK police seize Supreme Court servers compromised in North Korean cyberattack

Authorities say they are investigating Lazarus Group malware to determine extent of breach and leaks of personal data

South Korean police launched search and seizure operations on a Supreme Court digital data bureau this month to confiscate servers compromised in cyberattacks by North Korea’s Lazarus Group.

The National Police Agency’s cyber terror division confirmed to NK News that they have conducted two search and seizure operations on the Supreme Court bureau in Seongnam, just outside of Seoul, since Feb. 13, and that investigations are still ongoing.
