North Korea launched cruise missiles carrying new “super-large” warheads on the west coast Friday, according to state media the following day, confirming a report from the South Korean military saying it detected the test in real time.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported the launch was a “power test” of the new warhead and that the military also tested a "new-type anti-aircraft missile.”
