Trump refused to sanction Chinese bank accused of helping North Korea: Report

Democrats in Congress suggest former president declined to blacklist bank because it was tenant of Trump Tower

Former U.S. President Donald Trump refused to blacklist a Chinese bank that was a “well-paying tenant” at Trump Tower despite evidence that it helped North Korea evade U.S. sanctions, according to a new report by congressional Democrats.

The report released Thursday by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee claims Donald Trump's hotels and other businesses accepted more than $7.8 million from foreign governments during his presidency, violating the U.S. Constitution’s foreign emoluments clause.
