North Korea tested a new type of nuclear-capable cruise missile called the "Pulhwasal-3-31," according to state media on Thursday.
South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) previously announced it detected the test of "several cruise missiles" on North Korea's west coast around 7 a.m. KST on Wednesday.
