The intelligence services of South Korea and the U.K. have issued a joint warning against North Korean cyber threats, stating that the techniques used by DPRK actors have grown “increasingly sophisticated” in recent years.
The joint advisory is the first London has issued with a nation that is not part of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, a move that one expert said reflects how the Yoon administration’s foreign policy priorities overlap with those of Western countries. Five Eyes is comprised of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the U.K. and the U.S.
