Regular tours of the inter-Korean border village of Panmunjom are set to resume on Wednesday after a four-month hiatus, Seoul has announced, following the program’s suspension since American soldier Travis King crossed into North Korea.
The unification ministry announced on Tuesday that the “special tour program” to the Joint Security Area (JSA) will only be open to South Korean nationals and will operate in close coordination with the U.N. Command (UNC).
