The U.S. and South Korea are conducting joint military exercises on “neutralizing” North Korean operations against border islands in the Yellow Sea, the ROK navy announced on Thursday.
The large-scale maritime drill off the coast of Taean started on Tuesday and is part of the annual multi-week “Hoguk Exercise” led by the ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), which kicked off earlier this month.
