North Korea will attempt a satellite launch between Aug. 24 and 31, according to the Japanese Prime Minister’s office and Japan Coast Guard Tuesday morning, apparently after receiving advanced notice from Pyongyang.
The launch window coincides with large-scale joint U.S.-ROK military drills that are also scheduled through the end of August.
