North Korea’s official tourism agency has invited foreign golfers to participate in a tournament in Pyongyang, though one expert says this does not necessarily imply an imminent border reopening.
The National Tourism Administration’s DPR Korea Tour website posted five articles last week promoting golf competitions and facilities in the country, in particular the Ryomyong Golf Tournament and golf enthusiasts’ contests held every spring and fall at Pyongyang Golf Course.
