U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken called on China to play a bigger role on North Korea issues this week, as he visited Beijing for meetings with Xi Jinping and other top officials.
In remarks to reporters on Monday, Blinken said he raised the subject of Pyongyang’s “increasingly reckless actions and rhetoric” during two days of meetings with the Chinese leader and senior foreign affairs officials, according to a State Department press release.
