North Korea marked the completion of new apartments in western Pyongyang on Sunday, according to state media, pushing forward a project that seeks to address housing shortages and showcase Kim Jong Un’s “fervent love for the people” after multiple delays.
Cabinet premier Kim Tok Hun presided over the ceremony to inaugurate the new “modern” housing complex in the capital’s Taephyong area, which also features new schools, medical clinics and other facilities, the party-run Rodong Sinmun reported Monday.
