North Korea’s foreign minister condemned the Group of Seven (G7) on Friday for criticizing the country’s nuclear program, asserting its “final and irreversible” nuclear status after the bloc said the DPRK will never be accepted as a nuclear state.
In the statement released through Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Choe Son Hui stated that the group of leading industrial nations has “neither authority nor qualification” to challenge the DPRK’s sovereignty and called its recent criticisms “the most absurd and illegal interference in the internal affairs.”
