Brother of missionary detained in North Korea appeals to Biden for help

Kim Jong-uk has been held for nearly 10 years and is one of six known South Korean nationals in DPRK captivity

The brother of a South Korean missionary imprisoned in North Korea requested U.S. President Joe Biden’s help in getting his loved ones released on Tuesday, as he met a U.S. official in Seoul.

Kim Jong-sam, the brother of the missionary Kim Jong-uk, delivered his message to the president in a handwritten letter that he gave to U.S. deputy special representative for North Korea Jung Pak on Tuesday and shared with NK News.
