The U.S. says North Korea was behind the June 2022 theft of $100 million from a major blockchain, confirming earlier attributions by private-sector security researchers.
“Through our investigation, we are able to confirm that the Lazarus Group cyber actors associated with the DPRK are responsible for the theft of $100 million of virtual currency from Harmony’s Horizon bridge,” the FBI said in a press release earlier this week.
