South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol “strongly” reprimanded the country’s defense minister Lee Jong-sup for failing to intercept North Korean drones that entered ROK airspace earlier this week, faulting a lack of military training, a senior presidential official said Wednesday.
The top official who was inside the president’s situation room during the anti-drone operations on Monday recalled that it was “honestly frustrating” watching the ROK military try to take down the drones.
