North Korea-China trade dips nearly 20% in November after reaching pandemic high

Sharp drop in exports drives overall decline, though bilateral trade remains higher than most months during pandemic

North Korean trade with China dropped nearly 20% last month, customs data shows, after reaching an almost three-year high in October.

China’s General Administration of Customs (GAC) shows that bilateral trade totaled $125.7 million in November, mostly on the back of medicine and food imports from China.
