U.S. and South Korean officials met Thursday to review Washington’s latest nuclear posture and defense policies amid the “severe” security situation on the Korean Peninsula, according to Seoul’s defense ministry.
U.S. deputy assistant secretary of defense for nuclear and countering WMD policy Richard Johnson met ROK ministry policy officer Ha Dae-bong and head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) Nuclear and WMD Response Center Kim Soo-kwang, the defense ministry said in a press release.
