U.S. Marine Coprs Flickr The U.S. and South Korean air forces will conduct their largest-ever joint air drills next week with an assortment of stealth jets and other warplanes, according to the U.S. Air Force on Friday, the latest show of force meant to deter North Korean “provocations.” Vigilant Storm will run from Monday to Friday and include ROK F-35A and U.S. F-35B stealth jets among 380 aircraft in total from both sides. “The ROK and U.S. combined air force is performing approximately 1,600 sorties – the largest number ever for this annual event,” the U.S. 7th Air Force said in a press release © Korea Risk Group. The U.S. and South Korean air forces will conduct their largest-ever joint air drills next week with an assortment of stealth jets and other warplanes, according to the U.S. Air Force on Friday, the latest show of force meant to deter North Korean “provocations.”

Vigilant Storm will run from Monday to Friday and include ROK F-35A and U.S. F-35B stealth jets among 380 aircraft in total from both sides.
