The U.S. and South Korea will conduct large-scale maritime exercises in the Yellow Sea from Monday to improve operations against “provocations,” according to the ROK navy, after North and South Korea fired warning shots at each other near their western sea border earlier in the day.
The ROK navy, army, air force and coast guard will all participate in the joint training with U.S. forces from Oct. 24-27, the navy said in a press release.
