South Korean police intercepted high-profile activist Park Sang-hak over the weekend as he attempted to send USB sticks, medicine and anti-regime posters across the inter-Korean border, Park told NK News on Monday.
Park, a North Korean defector, has reported multiple attempts to send aid and other material to the DPRK this year despite a ban on the activity. He and his group Fighters for a Free North Korea Park face potential fines and/or jail time for violating the law.
