Singapore has charged three men with destroying evidence of illicit oil transfers to North Korea, the city-state’s police force said Thursday.
According to a press release, the men allegedly conspired to falsify shipping documents that may have shown that the Sea Tanker II (IMO 9664483), a 3,600-deadweight-ton oil tanker, transferred gasoil to North Korea-flagged vessels in or before Oct. 2018.
