A prominent defector activist on Thursday denounced North Korea’s claim that “alien things” like balloons spread COVID-19 into the country, a day after he claims to have launched more balloons carrying medical assistance toward the DPRK.
Photos of the launch provided by Park Sang-hak and his organization, Fighters for a Free North Korea (FFNK), show that one of the balloons carried a banner with an image of Kim Jong Un crying above a message blaming the country’s leadership for spreading COVID-19.
