Chinese air force planes have harassed a Canadian long-range patrol aircraft conducting routine North Korea sanctions monitoring on “several occasions,” the Canadian Armed Forces said Wednesday.
The CP-140 Aurora of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) was involved in several “interactions” in which People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) planes nearly struck the long-range patrol aircraft, according to the statement.
