The U.S. and ROK will begin two weeks of combined air force drills next Monday, multiple informed sources confirmed to NK News, a move likely to elicit a reaction from Pyongyang just as South Korean President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol enters office.
The upcoming drills are expected to be a downsized version of Max Thunder, now known as Korea Flying Training (KFT), an annual air exercise that features a range of American and South Korean aircraft.
