South Korea on Monday attempted to deliver a letter to North Korea detailing plans for the provision of vaccines, masks and COVID-19 test kits less than a week after Pyongyang admitted the virus has upended life in the country, but the North showed no interest in receiving the offer.
The request to deliver the letter was made to North Korea via an inter-Korean hotline late Monday morning, according to South Korea’s Ministry of Unification (MOU).
