North Korean leader Kim Jong Un attended a Lunar New Year concert in the capital on Tuesday with his wife Ri Sol Ju, according to state media, marking her first public appearance in almost five months.
The two joined performers on stage to hold hands and take a group photo after the concert, which mostly featured songs about the greatness of the ruling party, according to party newspaper Rodong Sinmun. The paper did not print any images with its report on Wednesday, but state television aired footage of them at the event later in the day.
