Seoul court finds award-winning author guilty of 'indecent act by force' against a former female coworker

A South Korean court has sentenced prominent North Korean defector and author Jang Jin-sung to six months in prison, after finding him guilty of a sexual crime against a former female coworker, NK News has confirmed.

Jang is the bestselling author of the 2014 memoir “Dear Leader,” which tells the story of his life as a North Korean propaganda artist and poet, as well as his defection to South Korea.
