The Chinese Embassy in Pyongyang met with representatives of citizens living in North Korea on Thursday to offer COVID-19-related supplies and support for their "difficulties" on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, according to a new post on the embassy's website.
The post confirmed that diplomat Sun Hongliang is serving as the new chargé d'affaires after former Ambassador Li Jinjun stepped down from his role last month and was reported to have returned to China.
