North Korean party officials conducted a second day of departmental “workshops” as part of an ongoing plenary meeting on Thursday, according to state media, which reported that the meeting will go on until at least Friday.
The report on the fourth day of the plenum in the party-run Rodong Sinmun on Friday morning was the shortest of the event yet, offering only three sentences that said the workshops wrapped up and that the meeting “continues.” It did not mention anything about leader Kim Jong Un’s participation.
