Top diplomats from the Group of Seven (G7) have called on North Korea to refrain from “provocative actions” and return to denuclearization talks, reinforcing a statement from earlier this year. 

The remarks came at the G7 Foreign and Development Ministers summit in Liverpool, U.K. over the weekend, where participants shared concerns about North Korea’s nuclear and missile developments, among other issues. 

“We welcomed the readiness of the United States to continue its efforts in that regard and remain committed to providing support,” Elizabeth Truss MP, the U.K.’s secretary of state for foreign, commonwealth and development affairs, said in a statement
