Two North Koreans are still in Qatar awaiting deportation to their home country, Doha told a U.N. committee in a report made available Monday, nearly two years after U.N. sanctions made it illegal for DPRK citizens to work abroad.
Qatar said in the report that it previously violated those sanctions by allowing one North Korean national into the country in 2020 after the U.N. Security Council (UNSC) sanctions resolution took effect, referring to football star Han Kwang Song.
