North Korea’s foreign ministry will dispatch its first delegation to Brussels since the global COVID-19 pandemic began early last year, multiple sources confirmed to NK News.

Two mid-ranking diplomats from the DPRK Embassy in Berlin will visit the Belgian capital for meetings with the European Parliament’s Delegation for Relations with the Korean Peninsula (DKOR) later this month, the informed sources said. 

The North Korean diplomats are also expected to conduct other EU-related meetings during their short stay in Brussels, though the DKOR events calendar does not currently list any DPRK meetings.
