Kim Yo Jong rejects talks on ending war until Seoul fixes ‘hostile policy’

Statement by DPRK leader’s sister follows South Korean president’s latest pitch to formally end Korean War

Seoul should fix “hostile policy” against North Korea before any discussions to formally end the Korean War, the DPRK leader’s sister Kim Yo Jong said in a statement on Friday.

Kim listed the withdrawal of “biased perspectives” and “unfair double standards” as preliminary requirements for talks on ending the 1950-53 conflict.
