U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Sung Kim arrived in Seoul on Saturday for a four-day trip, less than two weeks after North Korea protested against the ongoing U.S.-ROK joint military exercises.
According to the U.S. State Department on Friday local time, Kim is set to meet his South Korean counterpart -- Special Representative for Korean Peninsula Peace and Security Affairs Noh Kyu-duk -- and other senior ROK government officials to discuss North Korea issues.
