News US approves sale of $258 million worth of guided munitions to South KoreaSeoul’s weapons purchase will support joint plans for possibility of conflict with North Korea, according to US agency The U.S. State Department has approved the sale of guided munitions worth up to $258 million dollars to South Korea, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said on Wednesday (U.S. time).
