North Korean leader Kim Jong Un made a rare visit to the Friendship Tower in Pyongyang on Wednesday to offer respects to Chinese soldiers who helped fight American troops during the Korean War.
It was only Kim’s second appearance at the capital’s main site commemorating China-DPRK ties following his visit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in 2019.
