The U.S.-DPRK denuclearization talks were doomed once former President Donald Trump signed a joint statement with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore, a former chief nuclear negotiator for South Korea told NK News.
In an exclusive interview, former Ambassador Wi Sung-lac also said Moscow has more “bandwidth” to cooperate on DPRK denuclearization than China does. He added, however, that China has no incentive to greenlight a nuclear-armed North Korea.
