South Korea willing to provide COVID vaccines to North Korea, says Moon Jae-in

Moon says Seoul willing to push forward with the aid if Pyongyang agrees

South Korean President Moon Jae-in on Monday said that the country is willing to provide COVID-19 vaccines to North Korea amid a delay in the delivery of AstraZeneca vaccines to the North.

While North Korea has claimed zero confirmed COVID-19 cases within its territory so far, it is known to have been seeking vaccine aid from the global vaccine alliance Gavi. It also recently criticized other countries for procuring more vaccine doses than they need, saying that some countries cannot access them.
