New Seoul mayor Oh Se-hoon said he will push forward with a proposal to jointly host the Olympic Games with Pyongyang in 2032, despite the International Olympics Committee (IOC) having already chosen Brisbane as the “preferred host” that year.
Oh, who took office this past April, made the announcement Tuesday in a video conference with IOC officials where he lobbied the committee to consider the proposal.
