North Korea claims no COVID-19 cases as total tested exceeds 30,000

DPRK self-reports COVID-19 test numbers to the World Health Organization

North Korea has reported no COVID-19 case as of June 10, a new World Health Organization (WHO) report said over the weekend, as the cumulative number of people tested in the country passed the 30,000 mark.

According to the new report, North Korea has now administered a total of 60,422 tests on 30,348 persons, including 733 who were tested from June 4-10. Among them, 149 had “influenza-like illness and/or severe acute respiratory infections,” but all tested negative for COVID-19.
