North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s influential sister blasted another round of alleged anti-DPRK propaganda leaflet launches on Sunday, directly blaming South Korean authorities and vowing to look into “corresponding action.”

Kim Yo Jong claimed that recent leaflet launches from North Korean defectors were a “serious provocation against our state,” and accused South Korean authorities of “giving silent approval.”

Kim has previously issued a number of harsh statements on the leaflet issue — including one that immediately preceded North Korea’s demolition of the inter-Korean liaison office in June 2020 — leading experts to say that the behavior was “consistent.”
