Microsoft won a lawsuit against North Korean hackers, but the payoff is unclear

The tech giant was not awarded damages from the two unidentified hackers working for the DPRK-linked Thallium Group

Microsoft won a civil suit against two unidentified hackers working for the North Korea-linked Thallium Group, according to recently released documents filed in a U.S. district court.

The lawsuit, first filed in Dec. 2019, ruled in favor of Microsoft on Nov. 20 of last year after the hackers failed to respond with a defense over the course of 90 days.
