North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reportedly kicked off a new urban construction project in Pyongyang on Tuesday, demanding that construction workers complete 10,000 “modern flats” this year.
According to the country’s state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim said that the project — slated for the southeast corner of Pyongyang — will solve an unspecified “housing problem” in the capital city “once and for all.”
