North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s wife Ri Sol Ju appeared in public for the first time in over a year on Tuesday, according to state media.
Kim and Ri appeared at a concert celebrating the birthday of deceased former leader Kim Jong Il on Feb. 16, known as the Day of the Shining Star holiday in North Korea. The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Wednesday that the two entered the Mansudae Art Theater together to “thunderous cheers.”
