North Korean state media unveiled a portrait of Kim Jong Un wearing a military uniform for the first time on Wednesday, potentially signaling a change to Kim Jong Un’s style in his 10th year of rule and a symbolic emphasis on the country’s military.
The portrait photo shows Kim sitting at a desk wearing a white military suit with an apparent rifle and pair of binoculars in front of him. It’s on display at the Eighth Party Congress venue next to another portrait of Kim and a photo of him riding a white horse, Korean Central Television (KCTV) showed on Wednesday.
