A former top U.S. diplomat is urging President Joe Biden to examine Donald Trump’s successes on North Korea but also learn from past U.S. mistakes.
On Wednesday, Joseph Y. Yun — the former U.S. special representative for North Korea policy and a former ambassador to Malaysia — said that there were “many things that Trump did right” when dealing with Pyongyang, and that Biden’s new team of foreign policy aides are well-equipped for an American repivot to Asia.
